Are Nagachaitanya and Rakul lying about Chalapathi Rao controversy?

Chalapathi Raos controversial comments have become the source of earning bread and butter for many film journalists.

From debates, live telecast in TV to live updates in websites, this controversy has taken all the attention for last two days.

On to the topic, Nagachaitanya and Rakul Preet have expressed their disagreement over his comments which is good but why this only after people started reacting? Why didnt they react spontaneously? At first, Rakul said she didnt really understand what the senior actor said."Apologies for a late response to Chalapathi Rao comments! Wish I understood the exact meaning of it then.

I condemn it and my official statement will be out soon" Rakul Preet stated officially.After this, another version has came out from the lead pair of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.

"Respecting women is a way of life for me.The reactions shown on TV werent for the statement made.Do I agree with it ?Absolutely NOT" says Nagachaitanya."For people who think Nagachaitanya and I were laughing at those comments , telecast happens at a 5 mins lag and those reactions were not for it." says Rakul.Yes, there will be lag of 5 minutes in telecast of audio functions, but that doesnt mean the broadcasters can edit live telecast, even though there is a lag.So, its pretty much clear that those laughing reactions were spontaneous.Which statement is true here ? Rakul didnt understand what he said or the reactions were edited ? If the first one is true, Rakul can understand and speak Telugu very well.If not Rakul, Nagachaitanya can.
