APSRTC to run 4,000 special buses for Dussehra festival This was stated by AP RTC MD CH Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.Tirumala Rao said 1,800 special buses would run till the 14th and 2,200 from 15th to 18th.

RTC MD CH Dwarakathirumala Rao explained that 1,383 buses will run from Hyderabad, 277 buses from Bangalore, 97 buses from Chennai and 2,243 buses from other places to various parts of Andhra PradeshHe said that special buses for Dussehra would have to be run without any revenue.He said 50 per cent extra charges would be levied on Dussehra special buses in unavoidable circumstances due to skyrocketing diesel prices.Passengers are asked to understand this.
