The APSRTC headquarters recently issued directions regarding this.Orders were issued to change the colours of Palle Velugu buses in all districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Currently, Palle Velugu buses are available in green, yellow, white and black.Of these, only the yellow colour will be removed.
Watermelon colour will be used, instead of yellow.The design will change as well.
First, the authorities are taking steps to change the colour of RTC buses in Rajahmundry.
In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, all RTC buses are almost the same colour.
Those colours and bus names have not yet been changed by the RTCs of the two states.During the reign of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the buses plying in the villages were named Palle Velugu.
RTC buses still operate under the same name in both states.
