They all refer to realityOS that was discovered in Apple’s code as well as an application for trademarks that is a reference to the operating system that runs the headset according to Bloomberg, The Verge reported.

The application was submitted by a firm known as Immersive Health Solutions, LLC which is not owned by Apple.

To keep their plans private companies like Apple often use the names of companies that are not registered when submitting applications for patents or trademark.

However, as the initial report notes, Delaware-based Immersive Health Solutions was registered by Corporation Trust Co.-another shell company that was also featured in the realityOS trademark. In addition to the US applications, applications were submitted in the EU as well as the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and Uruguay.

The three filings each contain “virtual and Augmented Reality glasses, headsets, goggles and smartglasses” according to the report. The trademark ‘Reality One’ could be referring to the brand name of the device itself while “Reality Pro refers to an enhanced version of the headset that Apple plans to launch for the future, in line with the similar ‘Pro’ moniker Apple uses for its more expensive devices.

In addition, the name “Reality Processor” could refer to the unit that processes the headset that is believed to be an M2 chip.
