San Francisco, December 8, 2008 : Tech giant Apple reportedly plans to launch two new iPhone SE models in the next two-years. According to MacRumors, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that Apple has two new iPhone SE models in the works for 2022/23 respectively.
Kuo reports that the 2022 iPhone SE will launch in the first half year with 3GB of memory.The 2023 iPhone SE will have a larger display and 4GB of memory.
The report stated that Kuo’s predictions are in line with the many rumours surrounding the next-generation iPhone SE models.
Ross Young, a display analyst, previously stated that Apple is developing a new 4.7 inch iPhone SE with 5G connectivity in 2022.A successor iPhone SE model with a LCD display of 5.7-inch to 6.1-6 inches will follow in 2024.
Young initially stated that the larger iPhone SE model was planned for 2023.However, it was pushed back to 2024.
Kuo however stated that he believes it is still on the cards.
The design and 4.7-inch display of current iPhone SE models will be retained.5G connectivity will be added to the 2022 iPhone SE.However, it is not known if it will include either the A14 chip or the A15 chip.
