The counting of municipal poll votes in Andhra Pradesh began this morning amid tight security in all the 12 municipalities, including Nellore Municipal Corporation and Kuppam, where polling was held on Monday.According to the details received so far, YCP has won the Dachepalli panchayat of the Guntur district.
The YCP won 11 seats, while the Telugu Desam Party candidates won seven seats.Janasena and Independent candidates won one seat each.
TDP wins Darshi Nagar Panchayat in the Prakasam district.Here the TDP won 13 seats while the YCP won seven seats.
Meanwhile, in Kamalapuram panchayat in the Kadapa district, the YCP won the majority of seats.YCP candidates have already won in 12 out of the total 20 wards.TDP won in a single ward.
On the other hand, the people of Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for results in the Kuppam constituency.
The state as a whole is eagerly awaiting the results.Final results are expected by 1 p.m.The counting of votes in the Kuppam municipality is being carried out in the presence of a special officer appointed by the Andhra Pradesh High court as requested by TDP leaders.
