Coronavirus is spreading at a faster rate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.Currently, an 18-hour daytime curfew is in force across the state to curb the spread of the virus.
The state medical health department released a health bulletin stating that 22,018 new positive corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours in AP.With this, the number of people infected with the virus in Andhra Pradesh has reached 13,88,803.Yesterday, 96 people died due to corona.This brings the total number of deaths due to the coronavirus in AP to 9,173.
In the last 24 hours, 9 people died in Vijayanagaram, 11 people died in Anantapur, 10 people died in East Godavari, 8 people died in Chittoor, 7 people died in Guntur, 6 people died in Kurnool, 7 people died in Nellore, 10 people died in Visakhapatnam, 6 people died in Srikakulam, 10 people died in West Godavari and 4 people died in Kadapa district.
Yesterday, 19,177 people recovered from the corona in AP.This brings the total number of discharges in AP to 11,75,843.The total number of tests conducted in the state has reached 1,77,91,120.
In the last 24 hours, 89,087 samples were tested.Currently, 2,03,787 corona patients are being treated at various hospitals in AP.
