The Andhra Pradesh state government has taken another crucial decision.The government has imposed restrictions on travelers from abroad.
The state government has directed to set up Corona test centers to conduct RTPCR tests for those coming from abroad at all airports in the state.The state government has made covid tests mandatory for travelers coming from abroad.
The state government has issued quarantine guidelines as per the directions of the Airport Authority of India.
As part of the guidelines, the state government has made it mandatory for travelers from abroad with Covid symptoms to stay in the quarantine centers for 14 days.
People without symptoms have to stay in home quarantine.Also, travelers going abroad from the state are required to submit the Covid-Negative certification 72 hours prior to their journey.
The state government has stipulated in the regulations that thermal screening must be conducted for domestic travelers at airports.The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has said that the new guidelines have been implemented as per the central government’s directives.
On the other hand, the number of corona positive cases is increasing at a faster rate in Andhra Pradesh.
