AP DSC 2014 notification out

Teacher job aspirants, who have been waiting for a long time for DSC notification, will have reason to rejoice as AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao released DSC Notification today.

The much awaited AP DSC 2014 Notification was released for 9061 Vacancies today.

AP Education Minister Ganta Srinivas released the notification.The exams will be conducted to recruit for School Assistants( SA) , Language pandits (LP), PT and SGT.The breakup of the posts includes 6244 Secondary Grade Teacher Posts, 1,849 School Assistants, 812 language pundits and 156 physical education teacher posts.The government will conduct the exams on May 9,10 and 11.Online applications will be accepted from December 3rd to 17th according to the notification.*Online Applications: 3nd December 2014 to 17th January 2014 *DSC 2014 Written Examination Dates: SGT: 9.05.2015 LP and PETS: 10.05.2015 SA: 11.05.2015 *Results: 28th June 2015 Previously the National Council for Teacher Education had given permission only till 2012 to allow B.Ed candidates for the SGT posts.As per the rules framed by the NCTE, only D.Ed candidates have eligibility for SGT posts and B.Ed candidates are eligible for School Assistant posts.In view of over 40 lakh DSC aspirants comprising those with B.Ed and D.Ed qualifications, the State government had written to the Centre to allow B.Ed candidates also to appear for SGT posts till 2016.
