AP- CM launches ‘Mission Haritha Andhra Pradesh’

Nuzividu/Krishna : Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandrababu Naidu on Friday launched Mission Haritha Andhra Pradesh with a motto to have green cover throughout AP.

Theme of this mission is Green Cover for a Happy Living.CM today planted saplings at Sunkollu Village under Nuzividu mandal in Krishna district.

In fact Haritha Andhra was most liked project of Dr.YSR which is being carried forward by Chandrababu Naidu with a new slogan Vanam Manam.Aim of this mission is to cover 50% of AP with greenery by 2029 which is presently 29% with forest area and 3% non forest.

CM requested one and all to plant at least one tree and plant One crore trees.CM said everybody who is breathing oxygen must plant a tree else you are not entitled to be called as human being.

Government will come up with a clear plan of action on Haritha Andhra Pradesh.
