The Andhra Pradesh state government has undertaken several measures to curb the spread of the covid-19 during the first and second waves of Coronavirus.The state government has provided all possible assistance to the covid victims to date.

Also, the state govt has undertaken measures to reduce the number of positive cases in AP.However, recently, the Andhra Pradesh state government has issued key orders regarding the deceased covid victims.

The Andhra Pradesh state govt decided to issue an Ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 to the families of the deceased covid victims.However, the state has issued orders to officials to pay this amount from the Disaster Management Fund.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has directed the state government officials to set up a special cell in the district collector’s office to compile a list of Covid deceased victims and make payments accordingly.

Anil Kumar Singhal, chief secretary of the state medical health department, has issued guidelines to issue a separate number for each application under the auspices of the district revenue officer.

The government has directed the officials to complete the payment of compensation within two weeks of receiving the application from deceased covid victims.
