Another arrest has been made in K’taka BJP militant murder case

Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka) 6 August : The Karnataka police have taken into custody from Kerala one man who is suspected of having was a hostage for BJP youth leader Praveen Kumar Nettarus killers police sources told reporters on Saturday.

The accused was able to contact the killers following the murder on his landlords phone to avoid police scrutiny.He is expected to provide additional leads on the killers and the conspiracies of Praveens killing.

In the meantime the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has assumed the investigation in response to the order of the Union Home Ministry.The Under Secretary of the Centre Vipul Alok has emailed the document of the directive to Chief Secretary of Karnataka government as well as the DGP of State Police Department.

The ruling BJP in Karnataka was under intense pressure to transfer this case to NIA from all sides.The BJP has been accused of a soft stand by the ruling establishment, Hindu activists have resisted the saffron-dominated governing party.

The activists also laid an attack on the home of the Home Minister, causing serious embarrassment to the government BJP.The investigations have revealed that Praveen who was a excellent relations with all groups of people even minorities in the region was hacked to death for his fight against cut meat from halal.The investigation is also determining whether the murder was a retaliation for the murder of Muslim young people in the area.
