Andhra sees 91% attendance in schools

The attendance percentage of students in public and private schools is steadily increasing.As per the reports from the State Education Department, the student attendance percentages in schools rose from 73 per cent in August to 82 per cent in September.

However, it has reached 85 per cent in October.

Education officials explained to CM Jagan Mohan reddy that the attendance percentage in government schools has increased tremendously.

The attendance of children has increased to 91 this month in state government schools.

Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review on the Education department at the camp office in Tadepalli.

CM Jagan discussed the management of schools, student attendance, Amma Odi and the Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka schemes with the authorities.On this occasion, CM Jagan said that Amma Odi should continue to motivate the parents and students.

Also, Chief Minister YS Jagan issued directives to the authorities stating that as part of the Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka scheme, children should be given sports dress, regular and sports shoes.The meeting was attended by several officials, including Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh and School Education Chief Buditi Rajeshkhar.
