Amaravati 22 November : .The Andhra Pradesh government has rescinded Monday’s law creating three capital states.
It announced that the decision will be reviewed in light of opposition by a portion of the public and other legal obstacles. Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohanreddy, the Chief Minister of the State Assembly said that this decision was made to safeguard the greater public interest.He also stated that the government would present a complete legislation to the Assembly to address all concerns.
After a short statement by the chief minister, the Assembly passed Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Growth of All Regions Bill 202021.

The YSR Congress Party, (YSRCP), has reversed the previous TDP government’s decision to make Amaravati the sole state capital.
Jagan Mohanreddy stated that the decision to trifurcate the capital of the state was made to provide decentralization as well as justice for all three areas of the state.
According to the chief minister, the former government had spent more than Rs 1 lakh crore on infrastructure.His government chose to establish administrative capital in Visakhapatnam which has excellent facilities and infrastructure.
Jagan Mohanreddy stated that he was not against Amaravati.I have my home here.
He said that he was not against the region and claimed that some forces had twisted the intention of the government and caused apprehensions in the minds and legal obstacles.
His government, he claimed, was making three capitals in order to prevent the “historic error” of creating Hyderabad as the capital.
He said that YSRCP’s victories in all elections proved it had the full support of its people.
Bugga Rajendranath, the finance minister, explained earlier in detail what the government intended to accomplish by tabling this bill.
Amaravati farmers have protested for over 700 days demanding the development of Amaravati as the sole state capital.
