We have earlier reported that popular Television host turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj has joined the sets of the upcoming multi-lingual movie ‘Pushpa’ under the direction of star director Sukumar.Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing the lead role in this film where he will be seen as a lorry driver in the movie which is set in the backdrop of Red Sandalwood smuggling.
Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of this film which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Now the interesting update is that Anasuya will reportedly be playing the role of comedian Sunil’s wife which will have a slight negative touch in the film.
Another piece of news is that her role is not a long one but is quite vital to the film and her character will be speaking in a Rayalaseema accent.This is Anasuya’s second film with Sukumar after her power-packed performance in Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’ where she played Rangammattha.
Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil is playing the main villain in this pan Indian film which also has Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil playing crucial roles.‘Pushpa‘ is scheduled to hit the big screens on 13th August 2021, in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film while the cinematography and editing were done by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.Stay tuned for more updates!
