We have already reported that anchor turn actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is now stepping into Kollywood territories with an upcoming film which also has Vijay Sethupathi.She even posted a picture from the sets of this film on her Instagram and confirmed this news.
But from the past one week, there has been news circulating that Anasuya will be seen playing Silk Smitha‘s role in her Kollywood debut after she posted the photograph of her looking into the mirror while applying make-up on social media.This image mirrored one of Silk Smitha’s similar photographs and she also posted the picture with the hashtag #SilkSmitha.
However, the actress has clarified that there is no such biopic that she has signed and that she is not playing Silk Smita’s role in any other movie.As the news went viral all over, Anasuya put an end to all the rumors with her tweet.Taking to Twitter, she posted, “I am NOT playing #SilkSmita garu in any biopic.Thank you.”
On the work front, Anasuya is currently working on Ravi Teja’s ‘Khiladi’, Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Ranga Marthanda‘, and this Tamil film.Apart from this film, Anausya will also be seen in a Telugu film ‘Thank You Brother’ which is ready for release.Keep watching this space for more updates!
