Chennai, November 23, : The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.
has been contacted by the producer of the upcoming movie Maanaadu.Stalin may allow those who are still waiting to be vaccinated into cinemasSuresh Kamatchi, a producer, expressed surprise at Tamil Nadus latest order making it mandatory for all public visitors to Tamil Nadu theatres and other places.
Kamatchi wrote to Stalin in an open letter, stating that the restriction that vaccinations be administered only to those who have received them would severely affect the already fragile film industry.Producer stated that people without Android phones would also be attending movies theatres.
However, they wouldnt show up if asked for their vaccine certificates.He regretted that "if they go to the theatres and then are sent home, they will never come back to them ever again.
" The producer pointed out that the production had not made vaccination mandatory in the entire world.He said vaccines havent been discovered for children under 18 years old.The producer stated that these children were allowed to attend schools and other public places.The producer appealed to the Chief Minister for permission to allow those who want to get vaccinated in the future, just as they were allowed to do so when they were under 18.The producer appealed for the Chief Minister to make a quick decision and save the film industry as well as theatre owners.mani/k #shots #Maanaadu #Chennai #Tamil #Kollywood.
