Kohima on August 15th.: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday said that all elected officials of Nagaland have gathered to work towards a resolution of the Naga political dispute.
Noting that areas with less than 15 police stations were not covered by the Armed Forces (Special Power) Act was repealed and the Chief Minister it was hoped that additional areas will be free of the scope of AFSPA in the near future the Chief Minister announced that in order to improve transparency, accountability and the ease of being a part of the Personal Information Management System (PIMS) for employees of the government has been strengthened further and ePay Bill based on PIMS data has been made available to all employees.The Chief Minister has said that Nagaland Secretariat for the legislative assembly will be the first in the country to implement meetings that are paperless under the e-Vidhan and will soon be operational.
The statement emphasized the need to settle the long-running border dispute with states in the neighboring states, Rio said that the Nagaland state assembly had established a "Cabinet Select Committee" to study the border dispute between states and to seek a peaceful resolution of the border dispute.He said the fact that Nagaland economically must expand faster and more widely and also create more job opportunities for the youth of the country that are driven by private sector.
