Alexa instructs girl to touch the live plug, Amazon fixes bugs

San Francisco, December 29, : Tech giant Amazon updated Alexas voice assistant following a challenge by a 10-year old girl to "touch" a penny to the prongs on a plug half-inserted.

The smart speaker instructed, "Insert a smartphone charger approximately halfway into the wall socket and then add a penny to its exposed prongs." Amazon stated that it corrected the problem as soon as it became apparent.
