Patna 7 Sep : Following midnight surprise check-ups in certain hospitals Bihar’s deputy Chief Minister as well as health Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday demanded an all-level meeting of all civil surgeons in Bihar to improve the health system of the hospitals.
The decision was made after Tejashwi Yadav carried out surprise inspections of three Bihar hospitals, which included Bihar’s most prestigious hospital Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) at midnight.

Tejashwi was irritated when he saw dogs roaming around the Wards of PMCH.He also discovered that medical personnel and doctors were not available in the PMCH.

In a mask for his face with a cap on to conceal his identity, the Tejashwi entered the hospital without staff members or supporters.He went to the OPD general ward, the OPD, as well as the ICU of the hospital.

He discovered dirt in the hospital, which caused him to be angry.He also contacted the hospital’s director to solve the issues fast and provide facilities to patients.

“During the surprise check the PMCH was found to have many irregularities in PMCH.We have demanded a conference of civil surgeons of the state to discuss the issues pertaining to in the state’s government hospitals,” Yadav said.

Tejashwi had received complaints about the scarcity of facilities and the lack of awareness of the part of the medical staff in the PMCH.Patients have complained about the shortage of medications.

Alongside PMCH Tejashwi also carried out surprise checks at Gardiner road hospital as well as Gardanibagh health center.
