Taluqan, Afghanistan (Dec 26th) : .Twenty people were arrested by police on suspicion of criminal activity in the Takhar province and Kunduz neighboring Afghanistan in the last 24 hours.According to Qari Ansarullah, chief of information and culture, Takhar province has been able to arrest 11 people involved in various criminal acts, including robbery and theft, and kidnapping.
Qari Matihullah Rahani, a provincial administrator said that the other nine infractors were taken from Kunduz.
Taliban-led government has pledged to clamp down on criminals in order to maintain law and order.
