AB de Villiers scores fastest 100

South Africa’s batsman AB de Villiers has scored the fastest-ever one-day international century against the West Indies.The captain needed only 31 deliveries to reach three figures in the second ODI.

With this he breaks record of New Zealand’s Corey Anderson, who needed 36 balls to reach a century, also against West Indies, last year.AB took a mere 16 deliveries to achieve first 50.He needed a further 15 balls to break Anderson’s year-old fastest ODI century record.He hits 16 sixes and 9 boundaries to achieve the record.

South Africa finally posted a record score of 439 against the West Indies.South Africa’s score beat its previous highest ODI total of 438-9 against Australia in 2006.
