81 new cases of dengue, 2 more deaths in Pakistan’s Punjab

Islamabad, Nov 30, : Pakistans eastern Punjab province has reported 81 dengue fever cases and two additional deaths in the last 24 hours, Secretary for the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Departments of Punjab Imran Sikandar Aloch stated Tuesday.

The official said that 58 out of the total 81 dengue cases were reported from Lahore, the capital of the province.This is the countrys hotspot for dengue cases this year.

According to Xinhua news agency, the total number of cases in Lahore district has reached 17,906 since this years outbreak.According to the health department in the province, 808 patients are currently admitted to hospitals.
