Ankara Nov 21 : , The Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Kuca announced that 80.5 percent of all 18-year-olds have been fully vaccinated in Turkey. Koca, who tweeted that the number of fully vaccinated citizens in Turkey exceeded 50million, which is 60 percent of total Turkish population, warned, however, that it was not sufficient to deal with the pandemic.
Turkey reported 8550,377 Covid-19 deaths and 747,847 cases.
Turkey began mass Covid-19 vaccinations on January 14.
Over 56 million people received the first vaccine dose.
Turkey has administered so far 119.27 millions doses of booster jabs.
