Dakshina Kannada 22 Nov : .Police in Karnataka have taken 19 people into custody to question them in relation to the suspected rape, murder, and kidnapping of an eight-year old girl from Dakshina Kannada District. On Sunday night, the girl’s corpse was discovered in the drain of a tile factory.At 4:45 p.m., the girl had been playing at a factory.Her body was discovered in the drain late at night after a thorough search.
Parents suspect the involvement of factory workers.
The factory employs 30 people from Karnataka as well as other parts of India.Ten of them were not present for work Sunday.
Mangaluru Rural Police have opened a murder case.Mangaluru Police Commissioner N.Shashikumar said that the incident occurred in Parari village.We have taken several people into custody.
He said that they would soon determine the reason for the murder and will arrest the perpetrators.
Parents suspect their daughter was raped, and then murdered.
Police are currently investigating and have booked the murder case.
