Islamabad, Nov 29, : Six terrorists were detained in separate intelligence-based operations in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province.This was according to the Counter Terrorism Department of the police (CTD). According to the CTD in Punjab, the militants were captured during a series of operations that were launched in multiple cities across the province, based on intelligence tipping.
According to police, the militants planned to terrorize the province.
Police officers also seized a large cache of explosives, sophisticated weapons, hand grenades, and other sensitive materials that were in the terrorists’ possession.
