Srinagar, Oct 20 (IANS) : Jammu and Kashmir’s COVID-19 tally rose to 88,958 on Tuesday as 589 more cases were detected.
Of its 8,124 active cases now, 3,078 are in Jammu division and 5,046 in Kashmir division.
The Information and Public Relations Department said 241 new cases were reported from Jammu division and 348 from Kashmir division.
Of the total coronavirus cases in the Union Territory, 79,437 have recovered with the discharge of 770 more patients from hospitals.
A total of 1,397 patients have died, including nine who succumbed on Tuesday
