Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh), November 28 : .Four schoolchildren were burned in an explosion of gas balloons. The children were admitted to hospital.
The incident occurred on Saturday at the sports stadium.To inaugurate the event, Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti released gas-filled balloons.A child grabbed a string and tried to lower the balloons.
Children clamoured for the balloons and the balloons burst, leaving them with injuries.
The children who were injured have been identified as Mahendra Abhishek, Vivek, and Navneet.They are all upper primary school students.
Surprisingly there was no provision for medical assistance at the venue.
Dr Nitin, who works at the trauma center, said that four children were brought to the hospital with burn injuries from a gas balloon explosion.All four children are residents in the Bhithora block.
