377 held for illegal immigration in Haryana

Chandigarh, Nov 26 : A Special Investigating Team (SIT) constituted in Haryana to arrest illegal immigration operators has arrested 377 criminals in 435 cases and seized Rs 1.12 crore from them, an official said on Thursday.

SIT chief Bharti Arora said the team was formed on the recommendation of Home Minister Anil Vij.The team has filed cases of human trafficking against illegal agents.Among them there are many accused against whom more than two cases have been registered.

History sheets of 15 such criminals have been opened.
