3-year-old girl killed, 10 injured in TN road accident

Chennai, Jan 1 : A three-year-old girl was killed and ten others were injured in a road accident at Tamil Nadus Erode on Sunday, officials said.

The accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle, carrying a group who had gone on a pilgrimage to Melmaruvathur, lost control, while negotiating a turn, and hit a roadside tree.

Sources said that the girls parents were also seriously injured and the vehicle was totally damaged.Police have registered a case and begun investigations.
