Mumbai, Nov 26 : .Mumbai on Friday remembers the bravehearts and the victims of bullets who saved lives during the 13th anniversary for the terroristic terror strikes by ten Pakistani terrorists that paralysed the city between November 26 and 29, 2008.
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Sing Koshyari led state by solemnly placing wreaths at the Martyrs’ Memorial, which was erected in the Mumbai Police Commissionerate premises close to Crawford Market in south Mumbai.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thckeray, who is currently in convalescence, paid tribute to all those who lost their lives in the terror attacks and expressed gratitude to those who fought them.He called the attack “a cowardly act”.

He recalled the services rendered by the police and security forces in Mumbai and the people of Mumbai to ward off the attack on the country’s capital and recover from its effects.

Ajit Pawar (Deputy Chief Minister), Dilip Walse–Patil (Home Minsiter), Tourism Minister, Director General of Police Sanjay Pandey and Hemant Nagrale (Police Commissioner) also paid their respects at this memorial.

A large number police officers turned out to pay tribute to their colleagues who died fighting terrorists in south Mumbai.Special memories are for Tukaram G.Omble, who gave his life to capture Ajmal Amir Kazab, the sole terrorist captured alive in the early hours on November 27, 2008.

Family members of martyrs and relatives, as well as ordinary people, paid homage to the departed souls at the Martyrs’ Memorial, and other locations around the city.

They included widows, mothers and sons, daughters, and brothers and sisters who came forward to pay their respects and offer their personal tributes of flowers or tears to their loved ones.

Similar in memoriams were held at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Hotel Taj Mahal Palace.Hotel Oberoi, Hotel Taj Mahal Palace and Hotel Oberoi were also affected.

These targets were the most heavily attacked, with over 175 people killed and more than 300 injured.

Traditional and social media had many remembrance ads, touching tributes, and messages of the 60-hours before the security forces overtook the terrorists.9 terrorists were eliminated and one was taken alive by the security forces.The Indian law will be presented in an unprecedented open trial’.
