Agra/ Mathura 28 Nov : .Two minor girls, one a Dalit, were sexually assaulted in separate incidents at Agra and Vrindavan.
Both of the accused were neighbors of the victims.

The first case concerns a 6-year old girl who went to Agra’s government primary school on Thursday with other children.

Bobby, a 22-year-old neighbor, picked her from school and allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.

The Station House Officer (SHO), who was present in the area where the incident occurred, stated that police had registered an FIR under IPC Section 376 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).

The father of the girl, a labourer turned labourer, claimed that Bobby pretended he was her brother and asked the school teacher to let her go with him because she was unwell.

“My daughter was crying when I returned home, but she didn’t tell me why,” he explained, adding that she later shared details with her aunt.

Her father reached out to police and filed a complaint against Bobby.Bobby was then arrested and taken into judicial custody.

According to police, the Vrindavan suspect is a 16 year-old minor who allegedly sexually assaulted 7-year old Dalit girl.

He brought her along under the pretense of giving her toffees outside her house.

The FIR stated that the father of the girl claimed that his niece saw the suspect rape her cousin.When she called for help, the boy fled.

According to the girl’s family, they approached the boy’s relatives to inform them of his act.However, they behaved badly with them and made casteist remarks.

M.P.Superintendent of Police (SP).Singh stated that an FIR was registered against the suspect under IPC Section 376, POCSO and SC/ST Act.Singh said that the boy was taken into custody, and later sent to a juvenile facility.
