16 teams are ready to compete for the FIH Junior World Cup

Bhubaneswar : Nov 22, 2018 - Hockey fever grips the country as sixteen teams compete for the top honors in the FIH Hockey Junior World Cup Bhubaneswar 20,21.

The competition will begin November 24, and conclude on December 24Each team in each pool should aim to place in the top half.

The top two pools from each pool will then qualify for the quarterfinal.The European heavyweights Belgium and Chile will be competing in Pool A against South Africa, Chile, Malaysia and Chile.

The defending champions India, France and Poland are all placed in Group B.They arrived in this country to compete for the title.Indias captain Vivek Sagarprasad will lead the charge to keep the trophy.

While we didnt have any overseas competition, our team did some games against senior Bhubaneswar players, which proved to be very valuable.We have been trying to get used to the stadium since our arrival in Bhubaneswar.
