India’s Covid vaccine is recognized by 15 more countries

New Delhi, Nov 26th : .India’s Covid-19 vaccination certificates have been recognized by 15 more countries, bringing the total number of countries that have approved India’s vaccine certificate to 21.
“Mutual Recognition of Covid-19 Vaccination Certificates Continues!” Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson for MEA, tweeted that India has received 15 more vaccination certificates.

MEA released a statement stating that “Mutual Recognition of Covid-19 Vaccination Certificates with India: Australia Bangladesh, Belarus, Estonia Georgia, Hungary, Iran Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Lebanon, Mauritius.Mongolia, Nepal.Nicaragua, Palestine.Philippines, San Marino.Singapore, Switzerland.Turkey and Ukraine.”

The Union ministry for health and family welfare stated earlier that almost 100 countries had agreed to mutually accept vaccination certificates from India’s Covid-19 vaccines.

On Thursday, the Minister stated that “Mutual Recognition of Vaccines Increases Travel for Tourism and Business, thereby Boosting Economic Recovery The World So Needs”

He spoke out to highlight how India had helped other countries during the Pandemic.He said that India was the Pharmacy of the World and that it has generously provided HCQ tablets as well as other medical equipment to 27 nations.6.63 million doses of Vaccine Maitri were sent to 95 countries.

He explained India’s strategy to curb the Covid pandemic by saying that six vaccines have been approved in India.Two of these vaccines were developed locally.Nearly 1.2 billion doses of vaccines have been administered.82 percent Indians received at least one dose, while 44 percent were fully vaccinated.

“India is willing supply Covishield to all the countries,” said the Union Health Minister during a meeting with ambassadors from Latin American and Caribbean countries on Thursday.
