14-year-old Mohammad Faiz from Jodhpur bags the ‘Superstar Singer 2’ trophy

Mumbai 4th September : Following a fierce contest between the six finalist fourteen-year-old Mohammad Faiz from Jodhpur turned out to be the winner of Superstar Singer 2 and took home the trophy as well as cash prize of 15 lakh rupees.

Mani and Sayisha were declared the winner and second respectively.The competition, which debuted on April 23rd, was judged Alka Yagnik Himesh Reshammiya, and Javed Ali.The show gave 15 contestants between the ages of seven and 15 years old to show off their talents.The promising youngsters were taught by Salman Ali (Indian Idol 10 winner), Pawandeep Rajan (Indian Idol 12 winner), Arunita Kanjilal (Indian Idol 12 first second place finisher) as well as Sayli Kamble (Indian Idol 12 second runners-up) as well as Mohammad Danish (Indian Idol 12 third finalist).

Music legend Anand was also a part of the show as special judge during the finale.Along with the evening included famous performers Shabbir Kumar, Sonu Kakkar and Bhumi Trivedi.
