Gurugram : , Dec 25, 2005 – A security guard aged 35 died, and three other were injured when their bikes were struck by a car at Ardee City Road in Sector-52.This happened on Saturday.Shailendra Kumar (a Mainpuri native from Uttar Pradesh) and three other security guards were struck by the Honda Amaze’s speed.Their bikes then crashed into a wall, injuring them severely.
Passers-by and car occupants rushed the injured to a hospital where they were treated.One of the patients was declared dead at the scene and all were taken to the emergency room for further treatment.
Manan Sanjeev, an Advocate and resident of Sector-50, Gurugram is the accused driver.He is currently in police custody.
Initial investigations indicate that the driver of the car lost control and struck the bicyclists from behind.
According to police, they’re trying to determine the identities of those who were hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
